We did some of the towns on the Romantic Road on our way South to Croatia, and now doing several on the way back up so following your advice that will be Nordlingem and Wurzburg, and maybe Dinkelbuhl if we have time.

Hi Jeannette!
From the town center, the walkway is about a mile (1.5km) away. We drove but if I recall correctly it’s all very flat so it shouldn’t be too hard of a walk. If you put “Baumkronenweg” into Google Maps, that will give you the best route to take from wherever you will be. If you decide not to walk, it should be a quick and cheap taxi ride. Hope this helps!
