If you know me or if you read my blog, you’ll know that I almost always stay in hostels. They’re cheap and lively and I never spend enough time in my room to need much more than the basics that they offer.
We have already seen some of Kaleici since it’s close to hour hotel, but today we went out with the full intention of exploring every bit of Antalya’s Old Town. If your hostel or hotel is near the tram, we found that this is the easiest way to get to Kaleici. It costs 10 lira ($3.
On the same day we visited Termessos, we also decided to check out Karain Cave. It’s the perfect side trip if you’re already going to be visiting Termessos because it’s only 20 minutes away.
Today we set out for Termessos, the ruins of an ancient city which sits over 3,000 feet up Solymos mountain. You can get here pretty easily with public transportation but we still had our rental car and it was quicker and easier for us to drive.
We’ve been having a hard time waking up because of the time change, but this morning we made it a point to get out early. When researching public transportation in Antalya, I found a few websites with instructions to Kursunlu Waterfalls, but they were pretty dated.
