Our trip has been pretty packed with WWII sites. We’ve been to Auschwitz, The Krakow Ghetto, and Schindler’s Factory. It’s been emotionally heavy and I think Nick is ready for some lighter activities.
With so many beer halls/gardens in Munich and only three days in the city, we had to narrow down our options. A German friend highly recommended the Chinesischer Turm beer garden in Munich’s English Garden, so we put it at the top of our list. This place did not disappoint.
In the center of Munich lies one of the largest public parks in Europe. The English Garden is 910 acres of peaceful nature, and you could easily spend half a day here.
